Reflektierende Kleidung: Stilvolle Sicherheit

Reflective Clothing: Safety in style

Posted by Hanna Schmitz on

There is no question that you ALWAYS lose out on a bike in a traffic crash. Last year, a family member experienced first-hand what it's like to be overlooked at a roundabout. Luckily "only" a broken hip and thanks to the helmet no permanent damage. But the fear remains with every ride through a roundabout - with all of us, because it could have ended differently.

Make yourself visible - not only on the bike

You can do something to draw attention to yourself. For example, with reflective clothing, accessories and reflective elements on the bike (...and they are actually cool) it's a first step towards better visibility and safety. Wearing a bicycle helmet and being considerate when driving are of course also part of the latter.

We have selected a few favorite pieces from our shop for you. You can find all other products from our "Reflection" collection (it even rhymes) here .

1) Reflective stickers by Bookman. Stick firmly to the bike and/or helmet, but can be removed just as easily without leaving any residue. (Various colors and designs).

2) Reflective jacket by siimii . This great jacket is a real eye-catcher and the high-quality integrated reflector thread lets you shine in a whole new light.

3) Reflective bag by Notabag : The German Design winner transforms from backpack to tote bag in no time at all. Reflective straps and with all the features of the classic Notabag.

Not only darkness, but also rain impairs visibility. It is ideal if reflective elements are also incorporated into your rainwear. For example, our rain skirt has a reflective seam on the side.
